Corning Inc. donates 150,000 masks to hospitals

Corning donated 150,000 surgical masks that will distributed to hospitals in the Southern Tier, New Jersey, North Carolina and Virginia Monday morning. Wendell Weeks, Corning chairman, CEO and president, was on hand to help unload cases of masks outside the Emergency Room a Guthrie Corning Hospital. Donations will be delivered this week to hospitals serving the Southern Tier of New York, including Guthrie, Arnot Ogden, and Cayuga Medical Centers. Corning Inc. donated the masks to help area hospitals during this nationwide COVID-19 pandemic.
