BICSI-007 was developed as a complementary standard to TIA-862-B Structured Cabling Infrastructure Standard for Intelligent Building Systems. BICSI-007 is written for use in the design and implementation of structured cabling systems to support building systems over many protocols which could be integrated through a common network.
