Outside disturbances cause instability in a network. If there are too many disturbances, the system will (repeatedly) attempt to retransmit the signal. The signal ultimately delivered to a subscriber can be missing frames, resulting in a dissatisfied, and potentially lost, customer. Good cable management helps maintain network and transmission stability and assures customer satisfaction.
