Furukawa has become a global member of APOLAN, the Association for Passive Optical LAN, an organization that focuses on stimulating the adoption of passive optical technology in local area networks (PON LAN). The association brings together manufacturers, distributors, integrators and consulting firms, with the mission of helping engineers, designers, architects and IT departments successfully implement this network technology.
