Bending the Rules is Good until it Isn’t

Networks need to do more in less space. That can sometimes mean that fiber cables need to be bent tightly to fit in the available space. However, bends that are too tight can cause excessive loss or worse, potentially serve as a reliability risk. Always observe the bend radius recommended by the cable’s manufacturer.
