The cost of deploying fiber is directly related to whether a city goes low (underground) or high (utility poles). Each one is expensive and time consuming. Start up TRAXyL has patented methods to adhere fiber cables to hard surfaces using substances that should protect them from basically anything, from weather to 50-ton excavators.
