Tuesday at 2:30pm – This presentation discusses data center optical trends, including updates on emerging technologies, as well as Ethernet and Fiber Channel standards activities. Attendees will understand what is driving transmission electronics and standards to evolve, and what is making optical connectivity the dominant media in the data center. Attendees will also learn more about data that shows why OM3 / OM4 fiber is the primary optical connectivity, and how it supports easy migration to 10G/40G/100G data rates.
