Maryland Boosts Energy-Efficient Data Center with Grants

Maryland is the first state to offer grants to data centers that employ cost-effective technologies that improve energy efficiency. The program is intended to boost  the state’s growing IT sector and to help reduce energy usage, lower overall PUEs, improve competitiveness, and drive innovation, MEA Director Mary Beth Tung said in a statement.
