Comcast Business announced its multimillion dollar fiber optic network designed to deliver 10-gigabit speeds to Savannah’s downtown business community. It will also be extended to serve businesses on nearby Skidaway Island. The Thursday announcement is an extension of plans announced in March 2016. When the network is completed late this summer, it will provide businesses of a scalable, fast Internet connection.
