Arrayed Fiberoptics has developed what it claims is the world’s first non-contact multi-fibre push-on (NC-MPO) optical fibre connector. The patent-pending design could replace the traditional MPO connector in data center cabling systems, joining ribbon fiber containing 4–24 fibers. The design was recognized for it’s innovation by LIghtwave’s 2017 Innovation awards with a score of 4.0.
