Liar, Liar, Pings on Fire: Getting the Truth out of Your Network

In general, IT professionals tend not to be existentialists. Make a claim such as “there is no one truth,” and we’ll bring to bear enough data, expertise and inductive reasoning to quickly scupper the subjectivity of any matter. The world of IT, after all, rests on binary logic: there are no in-betweens, nor can we afford there to be. IT’s truth is this: bad input equals bad output.
