Equinix plans to install fuel cells at 12 more US Data Centers, adding 37MW of generation capacity. Fuel cell technology uses a chemical process to convert natural gas to electricity, produce fewer carbon emissions that gas-fueled power plants, and don’t require water to generate energy.
