Fluke Networks has announced testing capabilities to support Anixter’s Utility Grade (UTG) Infrastructure, a new technology platform, assurance program and design approach that redefines the infrastructure layer to support building subsystems, technologies and applications. The new test limits allow users of the DSX CableAnalyzer Series to certify the performance of installed cabling infrastructure to qualify for Anixter’s ten- and twenty-year UTG warranties.

Getting data centers ready for booming digital economy

Southeast Asia has clinched the top spot globally as the mobile economy hot spot, taking over giant economies like China. This is due to the growth in smartphone penetration in this region, which is touted as the gateway to mobile commerce. That said, the lack of robust digital infrastructure is a hurdle both the public and private sectors in Indonesia need to overcome in order to realize this billion-dollar potential. According to Gartner, Indonesia spends lesser in building digital infrastructure compared to its neighbors like Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
