According to the report, 54% of IT organizations will increase spending in the development of business applications, while only 9% have plans to increase data center spending. The study attributes this change in emphasis to the increasing reliance on cloud infrastructure, cloud storage, and SaaS, a conclusion borne out by 32% of respondents indicating they plan increased spending on network infrastructure.
